"Shakespeare's Accent: How did the Bard Really... →
sswslitinmotion: Really fascinating item from NPR about how did Shakespeare’s works actually sound like, back in their day. Wow!! I can definitely pick up some Edinburgh undertones in the dialect. It reminds me of when I lived in Edinburgh for a few months. Fascinating if you’re a Shakespeare fan.

The Fault in Our Stars Review
So I am joining the legions of tumblr book blogs that have reviewed this book. This was my first John Green book which I read for a tumblr book club (lol it’s actually the April book and I realize it’s currently 3/25 but I thought since I had the time might as well get it read before the stress of finals begins). I’m going to make this short and sweet,...

sswslitinmotion replied to your post: Score! Meant to add that I wished that my law school had an NCAA bracket pool back in my day (ok, it really wasn’t _that_ long ago); or maybe I just didn’t get to join. March Madness is a fun time of year! Hope your luck held up. Lol! Yeah basically some guys in my section decided to put together a pool. But overall my section is very sports orientated. Last...

Score!
So I might be ranked 6th in my law school’s actual NCAA March Madness bracket pool but I’m currently tied for 1st place in the nation in Out of Print’s Book Madness. Crossing my fingers that my good luck continues. God, I love March.

A Random Thought on Vanity Fair
So I’m approximately halfway through reading Vanity Fair (loving it!) and I keep on being struck with the similarities between it and Gone With the Wind. I’ve come up with a quick list off the top of my head on the similarities that have struck me.  Becky Sharp and Scarlett O’Hara are very similar characters with similar trajectories. They’re both independent, ambitious,...

#Gatsby2012
booklust: I want to go to the midnight premiere of The Great Gatsby in full-out 20s threads. Full-out flapper style. Like the Potter fans wearing striped scarves and waving wands. I want to wear a dress and wave around a martini glass. I’m different from most people. I love this idea and second it!

Eating Animals Review
Okay so I’m going to talk about eating animals in this review because that’s what this book is about, and it’s sad to say, but I feel the need to warn my readers of that fact. If you don’t want to hear my thoughts about eating animals (which is totally your prerogative) then just skip this book review. Before I turn go into my personal thoughts...
